A Q&A I did with the DRays Bay website is up. Stop by and have a look. They’re also discussing my mental state at BTF so check that out too.
Lots of people at BTF said lots of nice things and I can’t tell you how good that makes me feel. But I’m a little concerned folks are getting the impression that these occasional “idiosyncrasies” I’ve hinted at recently are causing me more trouble than they are. I mean I won’t lie and say I probably wasn’t doing all that well after I left the Red Sox, but that was two and a half years ago and I’m well over that. For the most part I’m just poking fun at that stuff. Nothing is so troubling as a self-esteem crisis as it’s happening and nothing is so silly as a self-esteem crisis when viewed with a few years of perspective.
I am still taking seroquel, but it helps me sleep and am basically taking it at doses where that’s the only thing it does. If I seem eccentric and idiosyncratic, that’s probably because I probably am (they’re the sorts of things that if people say you are, you are). There are worse things to be. This blog is kind of my way of embracing it and letting it run wild.
Again, I’m very flattered at the support, but you don’t have to talk me off of any ledges or anything. I’m doing fine. Poor, but fine.
P.S.: The Video Clip is of The Fratellis, one of the bands I mentioned in the interview.

I love the post office comment in that interview. I sometimes wonder if you would meet more people that way.
