Ha, the Boston Globe… last season, they published an article before the AFC Championship Game that said the Patriots had the Super Bowl all wrapped up and they were going to steamroll the Colts and whichever NFC opponent they came across. Gotta love that Northeastern arrogance

Amazon’s taken down the page, but there’s a screenshot of it here for the two or three people who missed it (this is the fourth reference to it I’ve seen today).
I was rooting for the Patriots, but stuff like this still amuses me. Then again, I realize that the reality of publishing leaves people open to looking silly like this. Really it’s no different than printing up the team’s “Super Bowl XLII Champions!” T-shirts before the game is played.
