My opinion is that if PEDs allowed him to do something like that, then I wan’t more PEDs. If they did not, then such an accomplishment doesn’t deserve to be seen as “tainted.” Either way I think a more rational discussion of the pros and cons of these substances needs to happen than what we’re currently getting.

Voros, you’re preaching to the choir.
Fans are being dishonest if they think they want to turn back the clock to ” smaller, slower, weaker “. Not to mention having the entertainers ( sorry athletes ) spending more time in the training room and less time entertaining us ( excuse me, playing ).
MLB & the PA know this and it is the reason why they don’t favor testing by an independent body. Testing is meant to influence fan / consumer opinion, not clean up the game.
