So I can’t say I was particularly disappointed with the result of today’s Tigers vs. Royals game. The Royals won 4-0 behind 7 shutout innings by Brian Bannister. Congrats to the Royals and Brian, and while there will probably be some rough days this season, it’s nice to see them have some success. Thanks to the Royals for the spring press credentials and thanks to Brian for speaking with me. I’ll continue to pull for both.

UPDATE: And now the Royals complete the three game sweep behind Greinke. I wonder if too fast a start might get expectations out ahead of where they need to be. I suppose that’s a danger Royals fans are willing to live with right now.
